Barbara Watkins: coordinator and editor
Barbara recently retired as coordinator of curriculum and projects at the University of Kansas Continuing Education. She received her PhD from KU. Watkins was inducted into the KU Women's Hall of Fame in 2002 and also received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center. She has written numerous articles on Kansas history and coedited several books.

Lynne Lipsey: web developer
Lynne has ten years of experience designing websites for credit and noncredit instruction. She received a master’s degree from the University of Kansas in education with an instructional technology emphasis. Lynne and Barbara collaborated to create a website of African American oral histories of Lawrence and Douglas County, Kansas.

Steve Kinder: web developer
Steve has a background in print journalism, education, desktop publishing, web publishing, and marketing. He has helped develop and maintain large and small web sites, including sites with database integration. He received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master of education in junior college teaching, with a language arts emphasis, from Northeastern Oklahoma State University, Tahlequah, Okla.
